This Paragon AP Vent mount is designed to work not only with the mounting piece that comes with the COBB AP, but also any universal phone mount on the market. The small square surface on the vertical side of the mount is for the 3M double sided tape to be applied.   Thick aircraft grade Aluminum plate is used to make this piece rock hard and solid, along with CNC laser cut-out to create the Compressive Tuning’s signature honeycomb mesh for the AC air to flow through just like the stock piece.

Most products on the market utilizes 3D print material or plastic, which might become soft in high temp or under the sun. And in order to be able to take off the AP easily, those are designed to keep to cord lock of the AP cable remained opened, this may creates risk of unstable connection during intensive driving. Compressive Tunings is designed to be used with the mounting parts from COBB so the AP can still be locked with the cord and users will still have some room to take off the AP to push buttons when necessary.
